A Shabby Chic/Vintage Heart

Hello Everyone,
For my second project this month for the theme Shabby Chic at Country View Crafts, I have constructed a Heart and framed it up. As part of the Design Team it is my job to inspire you to join in, I hope I can succeed.

I gathered a few elements and laces, you find that once you start adding to your creation it is very difficult to stop!

I prepared my Background papers and cut my heart shape from painted up paper.
Now you start to embellish like crazy and add the glamour and create the Shabby /Vintage appeal.
Have a great week,
Smiles:)
Sue

I love this shabby chic heart; and, you're right--once your start adding lace/ribbon and flowers, you/I don't want to stop. Its like sharing a little bit more of our own hearts. The painting up of the heart added just the right amount of subtle dimension to the overall piece as well. Absolutely lovely!

Pssst...helllooooooo Onion....I've MISSED YOU!!!
My inability to stop drooling has me blushing over here, but I've decided that I'm going to ship myself to your location and start crafting with you. You mentioned in your opening sentence that it's your responsibility to inspire and you've nailed it! I'm truly inspired. You know how some people throw their money all over their mattress and roll all over it on the bed? You make me want to do that with vintage laces!!! Can you imagine how quickly Eric would have me committed if he came home to that? Well, let me think, I suppose if I too was wearing lace then...BUT i digress....
Your creation here is just hands down marvelous and it always nearly breaks my jaw when you frame your work. That's truly the best!
I have so much I've missed and must repent for my lack of attention to your blog. Off I go to peruse, but thank you for the FABULOUS INSPIRATION my friend.
Big hugs to you,
Quirks :)
