12 Tags-Funkie Junkie Style # 12

Hello Everyone,
Oh goodness I have completed the Funkie Junkie 12 days of Christmas Challenge.
And it is a little bit of Shabby from me to finish off.
On this creation I was inspired by the Holly, texture and Twine.
My Bg was painted using Red Acrylic with a touch of Quin Gold then I dry embossed.
The ornaments were cut on the cricut, and then decorated up with mini textured Holly leaves and pearls, also some sticky bling bits.
I sat these on a little piece of lace, I went crazy with Texture on this Tag.
The word JOY is a rub on.

all 12 Tags for my banner here.
I did not take a picture of them hanging as it is too difficult to see them all properly.
So another year of this Challenge has finished and it has been so much fun, it is always surprising where a little bit of inspiration can take you creatively.
Thank you Linda for continuing this annual challenge.

12 Tags-Funkie Junkie Style # 11

Hello Everyone,
Onto the penultimate Tag for  the Funkie Junkie 12 days of Christmas Challenge.
and this week I have been inspired by texture and the palette; Teal and Brown always looks good.

This week Linda has applied a base of thick texture with minimum embellishments, the latter does not excite me as I love to embellish, having said this my Tags are only 31/2 ins in size so I am limited to how much I can attach to my Tags.
No snowflakes for me, but a Poinsettia Flower and not in the usual beautiful Red, I went with a softer combination of Teal and Gold.
Vellum has been ever so lightly painted in said colours then embossed to create the texture.

My Background has also been embossed using two diecuts.
The word MERRY has been cut on the Cricut and painted in various colours, then wet embossed twice using Utee.
Attached to a skewer so that it is sitting up off the Tag.

12 Tags-Funkie Junkie Style # 10

Hello Everyone,
This is Tag #10 inspired by this weeks
Linda's palette relates a cold snowy feel, which is not what we have here in New Zealand; it is officially summer, Christmas is not snowflakes or snow, so for my make I had to create a relative scene using inspiration from the palette, and the texture, then try to warm it up.
I think this is the Bethlehem Star, it was cut on the Cricut, then embossed in Silver and Gold.
The squiggly circle has gesso, paint, and embossing glitter applied.
The Bg.
1st layer- Black cardstock
2nd layer- Gold embossed glitter.
3rd layer-  White cardstock splashes of paint and various stamping in Brown Archival Ink.
Numbers have glossy accents applied after colouring in copics.
