Word Play.

Hello Everyone,
A new Challenge at Country View Crafts this month is 'WorD pLaY.'  Now this is a perfect Challenge for those of you who like to use puns or metaphors or even something inspirational on your creations.
I am rather lax in using words to their full potential on cards etc, so this was a Challenge that made me think about Words as the main focal point and not the image.

Making the substrate.
Painting up the Bg with Acrylics and stamped the JOFY flower from Paper Artsy in Black Archival Ink.
Matted and Framed.

Not a bit of lace or stitching to be seen, this is almost a CAS except there is no negative space, I still have to cover everything, but it is one layer!
If you would like to join in this month then please hop along to the CVC Blog here and while you are there, have a peek on what my talented teamies have done to inspire you.

Have fun creating,

Awesome project Sue. You've managed to give a look of major texture on a single layer. Most impressive!

It's immediately a knock out piece of artwork when I see you mat and frame like that and WOW is this ever. I knew you'd been feverishly working on something incredible over there. That was a lot of work to apply those letters individually like that and to fancy them each all up, but the final outcome is stunning! I absolutely love the inspirational wording you chose too. Definitely a piece worthy of notice every single day!!
Outstanding work never cease to amaze me and not a stitch to be found...GASP! ;)
Hope you have a wonderful relaxing weekend. It was so great to end the work week with a visit to your blog.

As much detail work as this must have involved, it should be framed! It's a beautiful piece, Sue...wonderful colors and super design. (Did you use watercolor paper or just cardstock?)

This is absolutely brilliant, Sue - a perfect example of putting the words centre stage. The layers of colour are beautiful in the background, and I love how the lettering contrasts with them. Wonderful words too!
