Autumn colours.

Hello My Friends,

I am the Guest Designer for Sugar Creek Hollow today,  for their 'Fall is in the Air' Challenge. I hope this card will encourage you to hop across and join in this week.

I cut the leaves on the Cricut, and inked them up with Distress Inks.

Using Archival Black I stamped  some text.

Building the Bg, first with paints then Stamps and Penny Black Stickers and quote.

More shading and finally dry embossing.
Adding the elements, this metal leaf was altered with paints to create a rusty effect and metal brads for the centres of the flowers.
And needless to say I have to add some stitching and lace.
Remember you can click on image to see the details.

Thanks for visiting.

WOW! totally STUNNING! I really love how you've done up the leaves to gain all that texture and fabulous color. You are right- your style is much more "organic" than mine. I try to be like you, but I just don't have it in me!! :) LOL Beautifully done, Sue!

Love this, Sue - the pile of leaves at the bottom is delicious, all ready for (Scrumple-)scrunching through... and that background of layered stamping and inking and embossing is fabulous!

Wow, wow, WOW!!! Onion, those flowers are amazing. I would have sworn they were pre-existing on the background. Holy beaners how you've colored them up. They are incredible looking and so rich in depth and texture. The metal buttons/brads you used for the centers are sensational. I am hands down gaga over this card!! All the best of the Autumn elements are here on this gorgeous creation. Job well done my friend, I LOVE IT!!

Fabulous fall colors and details, Sue! I haven't used my Cricut for such a long time---even since I bought the Fancy Frames cartridge! I should pull it out and see what I can do, but I have no work space for it. Again, I do love the wonderful colors in this piece.
