A Country/Western card

Hello Everyone.

Our Creative Corner Challenge this week is to create a card/project with a Country/Western look, plus some plaid/gingham, such as in a ribbon or designer paper.
Our lovely Hostess is Liliana Inguanti.

Use the picture to inspire you.

There is not one stamp on this creation.
I found the Hat and Boots on the web, and I coloured them up in copics.

Made my own grass and plaid paper.
Die-cut the fence and embossed a bg.
I could not think of any other way to portray a Country and Western theme!

My fellow teamies at Our Creative Corner have come up trumps though, I will encourage you to hop along and have a gander. HERE

I am at this moment on my way to San-Francisco, so I will catch up with you all in three weeks time.  I do have some posts scheduled for OCC so you will still be able to see some creations.

And a reminder... that our winners from Our Creative Corner from now on, will be presented to you in a new format as our 'Top Talent Thursday' .
Check out our first Top Talent on 18th October   ... remember the date!
If you would like to be one of out Top Talents then all you have to do is participate in our Challenges, be a winner and you will be that special person.

Interesting Sue. You certainly got all the elements of a country and western card. It's given me some inspiration for a card I have to make soon.

What a fabulous combination of autumn and Western Sue! You've integrated both themes in a lovely way. Love the sturdy materials you used, gives it a bit of a rugged feel! Ira x

Ahhh, you've left me hanging here! Now I'm intrigued as to how you made your own paper design! That's incredible Onion. The thick green texture in the back really accentuates the yellow and oranges of your card and the twine tree (I'm assuming that's a tree), looks like a tree to me, is amazing. I love the glaze on your cowboy hat, gives it a very worn leather look. Nice work here my friend! Not sure when you'll read your messages, but have a fun filled time on your vacation!!
hugs to you,
Quirks :)

Oh my goodness--perfect for the theme, Sue! I never have printed & colored images off the internet, but need to remember that option. Love the embossed piece with the burlap on top. Safe trip!
