CAS No3

Hello Everyone.
I know you are fidgeting, eagerly awaiting to see my third attempt at CAS, I have just come from visiting Rosie's blog, and I now wish I had posted this before doing the rounds!
She is the ultimate CAS designer, and it hit me like a sock in the jaw that I did not have the acumen to have picked up a few clues from her when taking on this genre; after all I have been following and seeing her work for nearly 2years!!!! Am I slow or what!

But I digress and on a more positive note Top Tip Tuesday - One Layer Card Challenge.
starts this week and it so happens that my card today is one layer!
So I am going to enter this and hope for the best.

The image is a Penny Black and I have stamped it in Tim Holtz 'Pink Raspberry' distress ink which I purchase from the funkie junkie boutique (button on my side bar.)

Then stamped some mini text over the top.
And once again added an embossed frame.

Side on view shows the application of Glossy accents.

So my task is nearly over tomorrow is the last one....
...huge sigh followed by a huge smile:)
Sue

"Brace yourself Effie..I think I'm having the big one!" I can't remember what movie that's from but I LMAO when I heard it and now, I understand the sentiment! 3 in a row and one more to go...I hope my ticker holds out.

What one word describes the feeling I get when I look at this???? BAM-WOW-BAM (one word(ish). I think what I love the most about seeing you do these cards is that your "trademark" style is NOT being lost in translation here. Your style is still very much coming through and the cards still have so much spunk and spirit and depth to them....

I just shook my magic 8 ball and it agrees, "Most definitely" you should pursue this venue further!
Sue, seriously, the 8 ball never lies!

Hi Sue,
I agree with Lisa M., you really should venture down this path more often. The bold color of your flower is superb and I love that you added text. It adds some va va voom to your card and those glossy accents are the perfect way to finish this card. It's beautiful to look at and we are all so happy you played along with us at Top Tip Tuesday for the One Layer Card challenge. :)
Remember you can enter up to 3 projects and 3 tips. Hugs

Laughing at your narrative.... this is a beautiful card! I'm happy to see the new Distress Ink color used this way, too. I have all the new pads but have tried only a couple of them. This PB image is special, too. I have several brushstroke images, but not this one Beautifully done, Sue!
