Colour Inspiration for you.

Hello All,

Time again for another 'Our Creative Corner Challenge'
Anne Marie Hile: has set a  Colour Inspiration - Yellow, Kraft and White.

My card is Kraft,  the Pp is Kaisercraft, it is double-sided with the houses on one side and the Yellow/White  flower on the other.
I distressed  all the edges then inked in frayed burlap.
I fussy cut the buildings and popped them up on to Kwik Mesh, which has been sprayed with yellow liquid dye ink over a mask of squares.
My scalloped border is from 'stampin' up.

I have balanced it out with a SB scalloped circle x2,
the cute stamped little 'Happy Birthday'
is Inkadinkado.
Wow that rhymes!

I scored both sides of the card.

Close-up for you.

I ruched the ribbon, and dyed the  seam binding, and the wooden button has some twine threaded to connect with the bow  that is placed underneath the sentiment.

And I finished off the inside with matching Pp.

Please join us this week at OCC,  further inspiration can be found here by my other talented teamies.

I apologise for my lack of fervour within this post, on Thursday I lost my neighbour and best friend, her death was sudden even though she had been suffering with Rheumatoid Arthritis for a number of years.
She was the most generous and benevolent person, and I know this sounds cliché but she never complained, and there was always a smile when you walked through her door.

So 'Farewell my dear friend' I will  miss you dreadfully.

Sue, how clever to cut out the buildings from one side of this pretty pattern paper. I never think of that. A lovely and bright card. And the inside of this card is just as pretty as the outside!
